Chevy Colorado Popularity Leads to New Special Editions

Chevy Colorado

Since its reintroduction in America in 2014, the Chevy Colorado has been making waves. This redesigned midsize truck arrived on the scene and immediately revolutionized the midsize pickup segment, offering high performance, smarts, and off-road capability to drivers. Since the Colorado’s exciting reintroduction, it has sold more than 428,000 units.

To celebrate the massive Chevy Colorado popularity and its fourth birthday back in the states, Chevy is adding two new special editions to the Colorado’s already impressive lineup. The new Z71 Trail Runner is an off-road vehicle at heart, offering an array of features that will make you feel confident on whatever terrain you traverse. This special edition builds on the features of the Colorado Z71 – which includes Z71 Off-Road Suspension and an automatic locking rear differential – and adds front and mid skid plates for extra underbody protection, standard 17-inch Goodyear Duratrac tires for superior traction, and more.

The second special edition is the stylish RST, which has a sleek and sophisticated presence for city driving. The street-smart RST takes design cues from other RST trims across Chevy’s model lineup, offering elegant exterior and interior finishes like a monochromatic exterior offset, a black tailgate bowtie, and 20-inch low-gloss black wheels.

In the Colorado, drivers are given a never-before-experienced type of truck — one that is sophisticated, easy to drive, and adventurous all at once. The current Colorado model — which you can find at Fuller Chevrolet GMC Truck—boasts best-in-class 308 horsepower and best-in-class towing of 7,000 pounds. It’s no surprise the Colorado is so popular.
