The all-new GMC CarbonPro™ adds durability, functionality and more to truck beds. The GMC Sierra CarbonPro™ Editions are available on the 2019 Sierra AT4 1500 and Sierra Denali 1500.
The CarbonPro™ bed is both strong and scratch-resistant, so it can handle heavy loads. When compared to traditional steel beds, the CarbonPro™ bed weighs 25% less, taking off around 60 pounds from the vehicle’s mass. Despite its lower weight, the bed increases the cargo volume by 1 cubic foot.
The CarbonPro™ bed also has indentations that allow you to conveniently transport bikes. Plus, at the front of the bed, there are two additional tie-down locations, which make it easier to secure cargo.
Thanks to its durable design, the bed lets you save on spray-in bedliners and rear wheelhouse liners since they’re no longer needed. Overall, the payload for a truck with a CarbonPro™ bed is at a minimum of 59 pounds higher, so you can carry more for large jobs.
CarbonPro™ will be more widely available on the 2020 GMC Sierra AT4 1500 and Sierra Denali 1500. We at Fuller Chevrolet GMC Truck encourage you to take the Sierra AT4 1500 and Sierra Denali 1500 out for test drives to see how the CarbonPro™ bed can benefit you.
