The GMC Sierra 2500HD is getting some updates for 2021. The heavy-duty truck is popular for its off-roading and towing capability and its power. Here’s how GM is making this beloved truck even more impressive.
GMC is updating trim packages for the Sierra 2500 HD. Premium packages will be available for the SLT, Texas Edition SLT, AT4 Plus, and Denali Black Diamond Edition. The Safety Essentials, Off-Road, and Protection Packages have also been added. Plus, the 2021 Sierra 2500 HD will get an E85 FlexFuel option for the regular cab model when equipped with the Convenience Package.
New Colors and More
The exterior is getting some upgrades, as well, with three new color options: Ebony Twilight Metallic, Hunter Metallic, and Cayenne Red Tintcoat. Dark Sky Metallic and Red Quartz Tintcoat have been removed from the lineup. But you can still put your spin on the Silverado 2500HD by choosing between a wide variety of 20-inch aluminum wheels. Best of all, the MultiPro™ tailgate will become standard on the SLE trim, and the Denali will be available with a power-retractable assist step with LED perimeter lighting for optimal safety.
Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® smartphone apps will become wireless for the 2021 Sierra 2500HD and SiriusXM® satellite radio is available in the base model. The updated Sierra 2500HD also offers an auto-dimming rearview mirror with streaming video, as well as a new Bed View Camera, all to take some stress out of your driving experience.
